BPD: Two people shot on city’s southwest side

BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police said two people were shot Tuesday afternoon on the city’s southwest side.

Police were called around 2:15 p.m. to an apartment complex in the 1700 block of Springfield Road. Police said both people suffered non-life threatening injures and were taken by a car to local hospitals.

Officers said nobody is in custody, but the area is secure. No other information is available.
