NPD: No one hurt in north Normal shooting

NORMAL – Normal Police found evidence of gunfire Tuesday evening on the north side of town.

Officers were called about 5:40 p.m. to the 100 block of Shelbourne Drive for a shooting that happened in a parking lot between Curtis Court and Charlotte Drive.

Police said no one was hurt, but investigators found three to five bullet shell casings at the scene.

Police said they took one person into custody, but on charges not related to the shooting.
