BLOOMINGTON – Corrine M. Foley, 81, of Bloomington, passed away at 11:25 p.m., Saturday, June 1, 2019 at her home.

Her funeral will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 7, 2019 at St. Patrick Church of Merna, Bloomington with Rev. Dustin Schultz officiating.  Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Normal.  Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington.

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude, Community Cancer Center or Central Catholic High School.

Corrine was born June 24, 1937 in Chicago, the daughter of Earl and Josephine Olejnik Osterland.  She married James T. Foley on February 7, 1959 in Chicago.  He preceded her in death on August 10, 2010.

Survivors include five children, Thomas (Deb) Foley of Bolingbrook, Jeannette (Mark) Sofia of Plainwell, MI, Christine (Rocky) Marcoux of Milwaukee, WI,  Joseph Foley and Timothy Foley, both of Bloomington; thirteen grandchildren, Katie, Erin, Joseph, Kevin, Elena, Sarah, Shannon, Colleen, Hannah, Lillie, Will, Kristina and Patrick; two great grandchildren, Maxis and Bria.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Earl Osterland and a sister, Carole Latelle.

Corrine was an avid Central Catholic and Notre Dame supporter and the #1 fan at her grandchildren’s sporting events.  She enjoyed playing bridge with the ladies and spending time with her family.

Affectionately known as “Nana” by everyone, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother who will be dearly missed.
