Fatal shooting on Bloomington’s east side

BLOOMINGTON- Bloomington Police are investigating a fatal shooting Tuesday night.

A report around 10 pm in the 1200 block of Orchard Road had officers on scene to find 26-year-old Nathaniel Caldwell who was suffering gunshot wounds. Caldwell was taken to the hospital where he is in critical but stable condition.

Officers then located a car that had run into another vehicle and a house at the intersection of Wildwood and Orchard.

25-year- old Juan Nash was found unresponsive in the vehicle with gunshot wounds. Officers performed life saving efforts but Nash succumbed to his injuries.

BPD reports shortly after the first two incidents they were notified that a third adult male, identified as 18 year old Scotty Allen, arrived at an area hospital with gunshot wounds. Allen is listed in critical but stable condition.
