Fire destroys mobile home in Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON – A mobile home went up in flames Friday morning on Bloomington’s southwest side.

Fire crews responded around 11 a.m. to 10 Violet Lane in Prairieland Estates. The mobile home was completely engulfed in flames.

The cause of the fire is unknown and there were no injuries.  Two cats were reported to be inside and have not been found.

No damage amount was given but officials said the residence is a total loss.
