IHSA sets fall sports classifications

BLOOMINGTON – The Illinois High School Association has released its school enrollment classifications for fall sports other than football for 2019-20 and 2020-21.

Central Catholic will compete in Class 2A in girls volleyball and 1A in the other fall sports. Bloomington will be in 3A for volleyball, 1A in girls tennis and 2A in the remaining fall sports. U-High will compete in 3A for volleyball, 2A in boys cross country and boys golf, and 1A in girls cross country, girls golf and boys soccer. Normal Community and Normal West will be in the largest enrollment classifications in all fall sports, and Cornerstone Christian Academy and Calvary Christian Academy will be in 1A in all sports.

Football classifications are set at the end of the season when all playoff teams are determined.
