Randall Gil Freed
FAIRBURY – Randall Gil Freed, 64, Fairbury, died at 11:01 pm Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
His funeral service will be 10:30 am Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 pm Monday and 9:30 to 10:15 am Tuesday at the church. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is assisting with arrangements. The family suggests memorials be given to the American Diabetes Association.
Randy was born November 2, 1953 in Fairbury, IL the son of William R. and Delma L. Petersen Freed.
Survivors include a son, Cody Randall Freed, Denver, CO, step daughter, Angie (Eric) Vieback, Pana, step son, Jason (Tara) Bolding, LaGrange, mother, Delma L. Freed, Fairbury, brother, Ronald B. (Debbie) Freed, Fairbury, two sisters, Brenda L. (Harlan) Geiser and Denise J. (Robert) Ludwig, both of Bloomington, and four step grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father and niece, Lindsay Weber.
Randy was a 1971 graduate of Fairbury-Cropsey High School. He owned and operated Randy Freed Painting. He was an avid lover of music and talented artist. He also had a love for animals raising beef cattle for many years.
