NORMAL – The Normal Town Council is only weeks away from deciding whether to accelerate the town’s recycling efforts.

Town staffers are holding an informational meeting Thursday to present and answer questions about a proposed multi-family recycling ordinance. It would require landlords to make recycling available at multi-family dwellings.

A news release from the town said the council will likely consider the ordinance in July.

Thursday’s informational meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. on the fourth floor of Uptown Station in Room 409.

Workers’ Memorial Day – Remember those whose job took their life

COVID-19 has made us more aware of the risk.  Going to work every day for some people means…
