BPD searches for gunman who robbed Papa John’s Pizza

BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police are investigating an apparent armed robbery that happened Tuesday night at an east side pizza delivery business.

No one was hurt, and there has not been an arrest.

Police say a masked man armed with a small black gun entered Papa John’s Pizza at 1407 N. Veterans Parkway about 9:45 p.m. Police did not have information whether the suspect made off with any cash.

Police say he was last seen running east toward Rainbow Circle. He’s believed to be a black male, just over five feet tall, wearing a face mask, a gray hoodie, and black pants.

Anyone with information is asked to call Bloomington Police or McLean County Crime Stoppers.
