Bloomington man arrested after alleged sexual assault caught on video

BLOOMINGTON – A Bloomington man is charged with criminal sexual assault for allegedly having sex with a woman while she was sleeping.

Bloomington Police say the woman, 36, later discovered a video on her phone of a man having sex with her.

Police arrested Lamar Adkins, 30, on Thursday. Police say Adkins and the woman know each other through a mutual friend.

A judge set bail for Adkins at $300,000. He would have to post $30,000 to be released from jail before his trial.
