BLOOMINGTON – After scoring 57 points in two victories, Illinois Wesleyan guard Brady Rose has been named College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.

Rose, a senior from Bloomington, averaged 28.5 points and shot 71 percent from the field last week. He scored 30 points on 11-of-15 shooting from the field, including 6-of-10 from three-point range, in a 78-62 win over Millikin on Wednesday. Rose added 27 points on 11-of-16 shooting during an 82-70 victory at Carroll on Saturday.

Rose has not scored fewer than 26 points in each of the last six games and has not shot below .529 from the field in that stretch.

Rose has now received the weekly honor three times this season.

The Titans (14-3, 7-1 CCIW) return to action at Elmhurst on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. contest.
