Mary E. Iler, 84, of Colfax, passed away at 12:10 p.m., Oct. 5, 2016, at her residence.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016 at Wiley Cemetery, Colfax.
Visitation will be held from 10 – 10:45 a.m., on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2016, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax.

Memorials may be made to Eastern McLean County Ambulance Association or Colfax Christian Church.

Mary was born January 14, 1932, in Colfax, the daughter of Earl J. and Ethel Pirtle Center. She married Maurice “Pete” Iler on June 16, 1950, in Anchor. He passed away on May 6, 2014.

Surviving are her daughters, Karen Dorrell of Colfax, Gale Wheatley of Bloomington, Rebecca (Tom Denton) Iler of Colfax, and Elizabeth (Mike) Cooper of Iowa; brother, Ralph (Iona) Center of Glendale, AZ; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Larry Dorrell and brother, Bud Center.

Mary worked at General Electric, Octavia Manor and retired from Internal Revenue Service in 1997.She was a member of the Colfax Christian Church where she was a Hustler. She was also a member for over 50 years with the American Legion Auxiliary.

Robert Jon Isaacson, 44 of Bloomington, Illinois passed away on Oct. 5, 2016 at 11 a.m. at his home.

Robert’s graveside service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016 at 1 p.m. at New Boston Cemetery, New Boston, Missouri with Rev. Jim Fitzgerald officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 7, 2016 from 5 -7 p.m. at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to New Boston Cemetery Association, 35240 Meade Road, New Boston, MO 63557

Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.

Robert is survived by his parents: Richard Isaacson of Bloomington and Terri (Dale) Fitzgerald of New Boston, Mo., 1 sister: Tawnya Moore of Azle, Texas, grandparents: Linda Davis and Shirlene Fitzgerald both of New Boston, Mo., Niece and Nephew: Shaun Langhoff and Tracy Langhoff and a great niece: Tinsley Ruthardt.

He attended Bloomington High School until his senior year and then moved with his family to Missouri. He started work in November of 2005 at Nestle Candy Company and worked his way up to Floor Leader.

Robert will be greatly missed by all his family.
