ISU provost resigns for job at Marquette

NORMAL – Illinois State University Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Janet Krejci has announced she is resigning her position, effective in December.

Krejci is leaving to take on the dean of nursing job at Marquette University.

Krejci came to ISU in 2009 as the dean of the Mennonite College of Nursing, after working at Marquette for 20 years as a member of the faculty and administration.

Jan Murphy, who has been serving Illinois State as interim dean of the College of Applied Science and Technology, has been appointed interim vice president for Academic Affairs and provost beginning in January 2017.
