Shirley Martins, 85, of Clinton, formerly of Brownsburg, passed away on April 12 at 7:30 a.m. at Liberty Village, Clinton, Illinois.
Shirley’s service will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington. Following the service burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Shirley was born on Nov. 8, 1930 in Normal the daughter of Carl and Allene Morefield Alpers. She married Willis Martins May of 1951. He preceded her on March 20, 2001.
Shirley is survived by her son; Bruce (Karla) Martins of Clinton and close family friends; Dave and Sharon Hammer and their children Christopher and Ashlee.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one son; Steven Martins.
She graduated as valedictorian from Colfax High School and attended Knox College in Galesburg. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Brownsburg, IN and worked as a Lab and X-Ray tech for John Warner Hospital in Clinton and later worked in the medical claims department for Wausau Insurance Co. in Indianapolis, IN.
Shirley volunteered her time in the outpatient department at Hendrix County Hospital in Danville, IN. She enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Colts and Cardinals Fan. She loved sewing, knitting and crocheting.

Jeanie A. Luebke, 70, of Bloomington passed away at 7:55 p.m. on April 11 at her residence.
Cremation has been accorded. A private service will be held at a later date. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.
Jeanie was born on Sep. 24, 1945 in Bloomington, a daughter to Henry Jr. and Rosamond Whitsell Robbins.
Surviving is her daughter, Annette Robbins; mother, Rosamond Robbins of Normal; one sister, Nancy Raney of Bloomington; two brothers, Curtis Robbins of Bloomington and Harry Robbins of Shirley.
She was preceded in death by her father; two brothers, Frank and Henry III; and two sisters, Virginia and Connie.
