BPD investigating armed robbery at AT&T store

BLOOMINGTON – Four suspects are wanted by Bloomington police for alleged involvement in an armed robbery Sunday afternoon at Midwest Cellular, an AT&T authorized retailer located at 1006 JC Parkway in Bloomington.

Police were called to the location at 4:04 p.m. Four black males, two of which were armed with handguns, reportedly stole multiple items from the store.

Employees told BPD they were ordered into a back room where their hands were tied together. Police said the employees eventually freed themselves and called 911.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

The suspects fled in an unknown direction. They were described as:

  • A black male wearing a white polo with a V-neck tee shirt and had long black hair with dreads and either blond or brown streaks.
  • A dark skinned black male, approximately 5 foot 6 to 5 foot 9 inches tall wearing black camouflage pants.
  • A black male with shorter hair wearing a white tee shirt.
  • A black male wearing khaki colored jeans and a darker shirt.
